As a native of Harnett County, I love the area and I am proud to call Harnett County and central North Carolina “home.” Having been born and raised in this area, I attended schools in Harnett County, and graduated from Harnett Central High School. After high school I tried to go to college at Campbell University but discovered that college just wasn’t right for me at that time.

I joined the Air Force, and eventually wound up in eastern Virginia, where I finished an associate degree in business administration from Thomas Nelson Community College, and then transferred over to finish my B.S.B.A. in business management from Christopher Newport University. That is where I also met my wife, Julie Caldwell Carson.
While serving in the military I worked as a crew chief on F-16 fighters and then switched over to Security Police. I moved over to a RED HORSE Civil Engineering unit to work as their security supervisor, combat arms trainer, and big block security instructor. I was also trained and worked as an anti-terrorism planner for the unit.
After leaving service and getting married, I spent a couple of years managing two jewelry stores before my wife and I decided to move back to my home in Harnett County. My wife was a school teacher, and after my instructor time in the military I decided to give it a try too. I taught business and marketing at the Jr. high level for nine years while returning to college to get my teacher certifications in business and marketing education at N.C. State, and then returning for my Master’s of Education in School Administration.
A request from my cousin to help start a real estate company got me to realize the possibilities of real estate and I left the school system to start a career in real estate. I quickly realized that my desire to build relationships and help others is a great asset to my real estate career. Being back in the private sector business world brought back the challenges and benefits that enjoyed from the jewelry business, as well as the opportunity to establish close relationships with clients and customers. It did not take me long to realize that this is what I love to do.
I worked with Danielle Nicolayev and Jonathan Owens for several months, and we realized that we all had similar goals and talents that compliment each other, so we decided to work together as a team. What a great move that was, and what a great change it has been. Please allow me and the rest of the team to share our enthusiasm and dedication with you, and work one on one with you to help you to achieve your real estate goals.
